All about Disney Wilderness Lodge

This grand, green-roofed resort has a geyser that shoots 12 stories high every hour as well as an outdoor pool with a waterfall and slide, a children’s pool, and both hot and cold spa tubs. There’s also a private, white-sand beach on Bay Lake. Cub’s Den offers supervised children’s activities including arts and crafts, storytelling, and Disney movies (surcharge). Disney Wilderness Lodge provides a fitness center; massage service is available (surcharge). Guests can rent boats and arrange bass-fishing excursions at the Wilderness Marina (surcharge). On select evenings, guests gather in their pajamas at the lobby fireplace for a round of storytelling.

Disney Wilderness Lodge has 727 guestrooms located in two wings on either side of the lobby. Rooms feature private balconies or patios, and have views of the surrounding woodlands or the resort’s inner courtyard. Décor is reminiscent of America’s historic park lodges, with Mission-style wood furnishings, colorful patchwork-quilt bedspreads, and armoires accented with animal drawings and nature scenes.

All guestrooms have tables and chairs as well as separate writing tables. Both air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided. Bathrooms have hair dryers and refrigerators are available upon request.
