All about Disney Port Orleans Resort
Guests arrive at this French-Quarter inspired resort via a New Orleans-style train station; a two-story lobby with an interior courtyard provides the central check-in area. The grounds are dotted with attractive gardens and lush greenery. By day, guests can hear the sounds of jazz from the player piano. At night, Scat Cat’s Club, an on-site jazz club, gets cookin’ with the hot sounds of New Orleans.
Outdoor fun at Disney Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter is focused on Doubloon Lagoon, a water playground with alligator fountains and a huge waterslide in the shape of a dragon, inspired by the famous Mardi Gras celebrations. Young and old guests can also enjoy a children’s pool, playground, arcade, and rentals of bicycles and watercraft. Creole delicacies are the featured menu items at Floatworks and Food Factory, which also serves popular American favorites.
Complimentary transportation is provided to all Walt Disney World® Theme Parks, water parks, and the Downtown Disney® area. Complimentary ferry service is provided from the resort to the Downtown Disney® area. Parking is complimentary.
