Cabana Bay Beach Resort Expansion
Universal Orlando and Loews Hotels announce in delight the expansion of Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. The project will provide four hundred new additional rooms to the retro-themed hotel attributed to the incredible success and overwhelming guest response since they open in March 2014.
The expansion project that is set to open in 2018 will consist of two additional towers, which will rise at the south end of the area adjoining to Continental and Americana Towers. The Cabana Bay, which is a destination by itself, features an amazing design having bold colors together with extensive vistas that bring back the guests to relaxation mode and boundless family fun. Guests of Cabana Bay are privileged of experiencing exceptional amenities that include two zero-entry pools, lazy river, waterslide, 10-lane bowling alley and other recreational facilities.
With Cabana Bay’s current 900 standard rooms and 900 family suites, the guests have the option of choosing between the two wonderful room selections. The family suite is an exceptional room option with two queen size beds and can accommodate up to six individuals. The room is provided with a full-size pull-out sofa, compartmentalized bathroom having spaces for preparation wide enough for three people, a kitchen area, partition for privacy and two flat-screen televisions.
The guests of Cabana Bay are also entitled to exclusive benefits that are available only to Universal Orlando on-site hotel guests that include one hour early park admission before the opening of theme parks as well as transportation to and from Resort’s two amazing theme parks and CityWalk complements of Universal Orlando.

To start with, coming in 2016 is the fifth on-site hotel of Universal Orlando, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and including the Skull Island: Reign of Kong, an island adventure with groundbreaking attraction. In 2018 comes the Universal Volcano Bay, a water theme park that will bring an entirely new experience.
Loews Hotel PR Director Jennifer Hodges shares her experience as she set her foot for the first time on the expansion site of Cabana Bay Resort and thought, “if you build it, they will come.
The two new towers will provide a total additional 400 guest rooms located at the property’s south end besides the Continental and Americana Towers. Accordingly, some of the rooms of the new towers that are scheduled to open in 2018 will provide remarkable views of Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay.
